There’s enough space to accommodate laptops up to 20 inches wide (assuming) you need a good 3-4 inches extra space for a separate mouse or a writing pad. Made of solid high quality MDF with a thin film coating, the base is anti-scratch and anti-stain. There are soft poly urethane elevated anti-slip edges which make the table child friendly (no sharp edges) while ensuring that what’s placed on the top, stays on top and does not slide away. The base sits on a die-cast aluminum frame which is guaranteed for life. The table is sturdy, not prone to topple over and can accommodate weights up to 50kgs (personally tested).
